Forgot about this, but i remember being disappointed when they changed it. The bush was so much better.

RuneLite makes the game so much more comfortable. Doubt I would be playing OSRS without RuneLite. Tried OSRS on phone (can't have Runelite there) & it was pretty fucking annoying without the quality of life plugins.

When Classic was the only way to play, my browser crashed and it took several days before I could get online again because it said I was still online.

i feel like this serves as a decent warning to game developers, that you should be cautious with third-party software or et cetera. if you're gonna say you have a 0 tolerance to such, then you should *mean* it and take down even the "innocent, only better" QoL addons, plugins, and whatnot regardless of how the community sees it. vice versa, allowing such can and will cause certain unsavory effects to your game, but you don't get to cherry pick which ones you want and which ones you don't since they all try and make themselves look like / be helpful to the community, thus any attempt to get rid of 'em *might* cause backlash. the only winning move is to adapt: find the QoL that the community wants and incorporate it into your game, while also getting rid of those and whichever "improvements" are just detrimental. that way, you can both make the community happy and get rid of any software that hinders your product, with less people dissatisfied...

Jagex has changed so much, and all for the worst...

The idea of seeing who is selling something at said price and in said amounts, like every other MMO. The GE is just broken items say they sell for certain prices but never buys or sells at what the price jagex says it should be.

Man that account you showed with the like 50+ party hats would have made that guys so much money back in the late RS2 days. Id have said fuck my account for that kind of payout.

To this day have never been able to play Runescape. Tried numerous times on several different devices. The Jagex launcher just spins when I try to create an account. Unbelievably bad game, similar complaints all over the internet.

Man that original website, especially with the other Jaged games, is a rare bit of nostalgia for me for sure. I prefered the later version of RS2 circa 2009-2010 or so, but started months after it opened publicly. Just googling "Free MMORPG" or something lol.

I remember this day. Idk what world I was on, but I was in the farming guild collecting my compost from the bin and I saw the bow spawn. I ran outside and grabbed it and then realized the bow kept spawning. I had 8 bows in my inventory before I left and sold them on the GE. Then they rolled back. And I didn't get banned. Good times.

you could also use ctrl to run before the orbs when u played on the website, alot of people did not know that little tip back in 2001

I think it should be used in video games, because it makes it very clear that this symbol means help/health. Halo taught me that, and its forever burned into my brain as a good symbol if im in trouble.
